The house was officially foreclosed by - - Bank on -. - illinois is trying to collect money from us in the amount of $2700.00 for service date of -/-/- and has reported us to equifax. We have made several attempts to get this charge removed from equifax but equifax refuses to verify the date of service from - Illinois and will not remove this collection account from our credit report. We are hoping that you might be able to help us with this matter. - illinois should not have waited 6 years to report this to - ; furthermore, - should be pursuing this collection from - - bank and not us.
