I checked my credit report because I was denied credit. I called and contacted the company and asked to receive a written/letter of notification that I owe this debt. The person I talked to would not send out a notification. He stated that they would email a notification if I would set up payment arrangements -. I feel that this is not right. I only know about the debt because I checked my credit report. I have not received any type of letter from this debt collector that I owe a debt. I also feel that he was very pushy in wanting me to set up arrangements and pay off my debt, even though they have not mailed me any correspondence that I owe a debt.
