Taking/threatening an illegal action Sued w/o proper notification of suit Tennessee

I received notice that my wages are being garnished. I received no paperwork concerning the judgement '' that was issued. It was my understanding that I was to be served paperwork concerning the judgement. To this day, the only paperwork I received was from employer informing me of this garnishment. I do believe that the garnishment is illegal since no judgement paperwork was never served on me at either my residence or place of employment
