Federal student loan Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt was paid Florida

Federal Student loan servicer for the Department of Education ( PHEAA operating under - - ) is reporting in excess of - error on my credit report, including incorrect open dates, incorrect balances, the lender is not reporting payment history, erroneous derogatory remarks/comments, account status, and erroneous delinquent payments. The lender placed me in an authorized period of non-payment ( forbearance ), retroactively. The updates to my account cleared all delinquencies, and started my authorized period of non-payment ( forbearance ), beginning -. However, the lender states they are not required to follow Fair Credit Reporting regulations per guidelines provide by the Department of Education. However, no one within the Department of Education, the lender 's office, or the Ombudsman has been able to provide a guidelines put forth by the Department of Education, directing federal student loan servicers to disregard the FTC governed Fair Credit Reporting Act, and continue to report delinquencies which has been removed from their system due to a retroactive forbearance, which is defined by the department of education as authorized period of non-payment. The Lender has is picking and choosing which information they want to report regarding my loans, most of which is grossly inaccurate. I have been requesting resolution on this issue since -/-/-, which has included disputing the information with the credit reporting agencies, the lender, the ombudsman, and the lenders advocacy service, but have yet to receive the financial audit or the credit report corrections I have repeatedly requested.
