FHA mortgage Credit decision / Underwriting Massachusetts

Quicken Loans has given me - approval letters stating that my loan has been approved and FULLY underwritten in accordance of the underwriting guidelines. 5 days before closing - -, Solution Consultant for Quicken Loans, informed me that they still needed more time and that the loan HAS NOT been approved by their underwriters. Due to this, I have lost ALL deposits for the purchase of the home I was interested in buying since the approval letter was emailed from the loan consultant to my broker. A total of $3300.00.
