Amex consumers have reported over 188 official complaints related to APR or interest rate. Out of the 188 consumer complaints against Amex, 27% were disputed by the consumer (i.e. the consumer was not happy with how Amex responded to their complaint) and 100% were processed in a timely manner. 12% of consumer complaints against Amex resulted in the consumer receiving monetary compensation (e.g. money, cash reimbursement, etc.) and 7% resulted in non-monetary compensation.
