December 7, 2015 - I just applied to consolidate my private student loans via CommonBond. I filled out quick application which required a soft '' credit pull to see if I would be eligible for a loan with their company. I agreed to the application terms and the result was that I was qualified for a consolidation loan with an interest rate from around 4 % - 6 %. November 24, 2015 - I applied for a student loan consolidation product from Common Bond. I have excellent credit and always pay my current bills on time with no trouble. I 'd like to take advantage of lower rates in the current marketplace. Common Bond 's marketing products suggested that a cosigner would help me get a better '' rate. Common Bond 's advertising materials made me feel as if I would be eligible for a good rate based on my excellent credit, good income, and good payment history.
