Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt is not mine September 15, 2015 - I recently began to check my credit reports when I discovered a charged off account from Collection Bureau OF America alleging that I owe $260.00. On - -, 2015 I submitted a validation request in accordance to all applicable federal and state laws. Collection Bureau of America responded to my validation request with an invoice alleging i owe a debt. They can not be allowed to simply invoice me an alleged I owe a debt.
