Atlantic Recovery Solutions LLC Debt collection communication tactics frequent or repeated calls July 10, 2018 - A person called would not offer the name of the company they were calling from, they are looking for - - - - is an ex husband going on 18 + years. I advised that i am not sure why they would ever be reaching out to me for anything in regards to him. They made it seem like this was a case number and never represented them selves as a place to collect a debt or that the call was being recorded. this was a week ago and again today another call, asking if i spoke to - and relayed the information i did not because we do not speak. Still would not tell me where she was calling from.... |
Atlantic Recovery Solutions LLC Debt collection communication tactics threatened to take legal action March 23, 2017 - I recieved a call on - from a debt collector saying that a - account with a balance of over $5000.00 was in default and that they were debt collectors looking to settle and that if I did not, I would end up in court and sued. When I heard this, I made no promise of payment or agreed to any form of contract payment and then they said I had 3 days to call them back to with my decision or else they would go to court. They have left messages that this is to collect a debt and that they are taking action-- legally and through wage garnishments. I called them back to get their address and - number which they were very hesitant to release. first representative said very rudely im not talking to you'then put me on hold.
