(FNIS) Bank account or service making/receiving payments, sending money October 11, 2016 - When attempting to buy a generator after a hurricane my check was declined by Certegy Check Services. I have had multiple problems with them in the past with declining checks saying I did n't have enough history with them. When I was finally able to get a check approved Certegy sent it off to collections with in a week saying it was unpaid even though my bank shows it paid after talking to them it was found to be an error and they where going to send a letter to me to get my fees refunded from my bank and that never happened. Called Certegy and disputed the charge that they had on file which was dropped.
