The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is a 21st century agency that helps consumer finance markets work by making rules more effective, by consistently and fairly enforcing those rules, and by empowering consumers to take more control over their economic lives.

The CFPB will forward your complaint to Texas Guaranteed and work to get a response. After your complaint is forwarded, Texas Guaranteed has 15 days to respond to you and the CFPB. Texas Guaranteed is expected to close all but the most complicated complaints within 60 days.

February 18, 2017 - On -/-/- I signed for a - loan for my daughter with Texas Guaranteed. in -/-/- I filed Chapter - in Mississippi and claimed TG as a creditor which they filed a claim for $10000.00 which was paid in full and my case was closed in -/-/-. I have received phone calls from TG that I now owe them an extra $4000.00. The case number from TG is -. My attorney explained to me before filing that creditors would file what I owed them and once they were paid that debt was over.
