I started making payments after they got the judgmet. I lost my job and was in the middle of a divorce but I kept paying. My old lawyer paid the debt off in -/-/- from settlemet funds during the divorce but I did not know this until recently. They will not settle for anything over 75 % of the debt plus interest added back from your last payment. So - dollars becomes - overnight.
