The CFPB will forward your complaint to Accurate Background and work to get a response. After your complaint is forwarded, Accurate Background has 15 days to respond to you and the CFPB. Accurate Background is expected to close all but the most complicated complaints within 60 days.

November 4, 2015 - I am applying for employment at a major company in - Michigan - and as a require of pre-employment screen Accurate Background - spoke to the employer before completing their report. After sending employment history, company sent a preliminary copy of report, and informed me of 5 days to dispute any errors ( -/-/2015 ).
