April 12, 2015 - My husband and I applied for a refinance loan with - - from Good Mortgage. He required us to pay out of pocket about $850.00 to have our home appraised. Good Mortgage selected the appraiser, - -. In his appraisal, he made several factual errors, and his valuation of $500000.00 is at least $50000.00 lower than comparable market values we received. As a result of the low valuation, our refinance application was declined. Both my husband and I have excellent credit, have been steadily employed and our debt-to-loan ratio is acceptable.
