November 30, 2015 - I applied for a loan with a company called American Mortgage & Equity Consultants back in -. We were told that we could start construction on a new home before our old home sold and would not have to put any money down until construction was complete. This turned out to not be true. They expected money up front before construction started so we left and went to another company shortly thereafter.
