The CFPB will forward your complaint to NIC, Inc. and work to get a response. After your complaint is forwarded, NIC, Inc. has 15 days to respond to you and the CFPB. NIC, Inc. is expected to close all but the most complicated complaints within 60 days.

NIC, Inc. Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt is not mine

January 7, 2016 - Nemo 's collection - has a debt listed on my credit report that is not mine. I never signed a contract or entered into any contract with the people who owe this debt. I have disputed this with - - and Nemo 's to no avail. I have been unable to get credit or a loan due to this horrible ding on my credit report. I have attached the letter I sent to Nemo 's requesting all copies of said contract, etc. They did not send anything but a statement requesting payment.
