What protection do we ( age - ) have when a collection agency ( this - in - - ) places us on 'default ' through their lawyers because they allegedly did not receive the check we sent? Our records show we have been diligently paying for a medical bill ( incurred during an emergency ) with this collection agency, in spite of the fact that the hospital kept sending us 0 '' Amount You Owe - then popped this Collection Agency ( Please see attached document ).
