I reported fraud regarding my credit card to Citibank on -/-/2017. ( Someone had managed to cancel my card and asked to have new card sent to them in - ). I was told by Citibank the card would be cancelled and a new one would be sent to me to arrive the next day. The next day when no card arrived I called back and they stated that the new cards were still shipped to the person committing the fraud and that they had used them to purchase goods at - ( - at Citibank Fraud # - call - ( for authorities only ) ). -/-/- received charges from Citibank from - in - - for $380.00.
She also states that since " they were never before reported '' for this card " it may take 1 to 2 billing cycles to resolve '' and In the meantime I may accrue finance charges and interest until the investigation is completed. CFPB- I 'm not sure if they have broken any laws or regulations here, but my instinct is that beyond very poor business practices they have! Thanks
