Citibank Credit card department,
Macy 's Credit Card, part of Citi Retail Services, routinely sends statements well past their due date, sometimes not at all. I had a payment due on the -/-/-, I just got an email today on the -/-/- that my statement was ready. I never received a statement last month, so now I have a late fee I have to call and argue about. They purposefully exploit the paperless statement system. I 've had issues in the past where I never received a statement, and had to call and argue with them to remove the late fees etc ... They know about this issue, yet nothing changes. This is definitely intentional. It makes zero sense that an electronic statement should be coming a full week after a payment is due or not at all.
