My mother, - - -, had accounts at Bank of America for many years. I was her Power of Attorney and handled all of her financial stuff because she had -. My mom died in -/-/-. Bank of America was aware of her death because they were advised of it by Social Security and I provided them with a copy of her death certificate. I wrapped up her final expenses in -/-/- and -/-/-, and by the end of -/-/- the account was closed out with a - balance. In both -/-/- and -/-/-, Bank of America charged my dead mother 's account $24.00 each month for service charges. This is outrageous inasmuch as they know my mother is dead. Please make them stop this. Thank you.
