Citibank Credit card department,
The - Homedepot collected a payment of $520.00 via the phone for a recent flooring project and it is not reflected on my card statement. This payment was made after Homedepot charged my account for $4000.00 plus dollars. The Rep said it was an additional charge that the installer quoted during the job and I had to pay it. In order for the job to be completed, I promptly paid it. They placed me in a very bad situation by not even allowing me a day to sort things out. Although I had paid upfront for the job based on the quote, they suddenly came up with this overage out of the blue. Now, the money has not been applied to my credit card account. I contacted - -, manager at Homedepot, and he indicated that the accounting dept would contact me. I have not been contacted. I will attach my documentation so that you can clearly see that my payment is not reflected. This concerns me and I think someone at Homedepot has mis-applied it to another account or even worse, my have placed the funds in their account.
