Incorrect information on credit report Reinserted previously deleted info Wisconsin
A severe violation of the FDCRA law has occurred, particularly FCRA 611 Procedure in case of disputed accuracy ( 15U.s.C. 1681i ) Requirements relating to reinsertion of previously deleted material. Because I have been a victim of fraud, I have credit monitoring services for Transunion, - and - to keep me abreast of any changes to my reports. On -/-/2017 I received notices that from - and Transunion both that they had deleted an collection account from my report, -, I went to verify and sure enough it was deleted. However, when I went back to check it was reinserted on -/-/2017. The law states that a consumer reporting agency shall provide to a consumer in writing no later than 5 days after the reinsertion date. To date, I have received no such notice. This is a complete violation as I have not been notified and when I called the Special Handling Department and spoke with a US Agent, they said that it was nothing they could do unless I disputed it. However according to the law they FCRA 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681I ) PROCEDURE IN CASE OF DISPUTED ACCURACY THAT IS NOT TRUE. I am desperately seeking your help to get the - account removed from my Transunion credit report because they violated the law and re-inserted it.
