Citibank Credit card department,
I have an ongoing investigation with Macy's/Citi concerning 2 accounts with fraudulent transactions. The first, I opened and have used for several years until -/-/2016, when I identified fraudulent purchases. I notified Macy 's ( store ) who could not help. I had to call the credit/security department during their regular hours, M-F - ET. Living in -., that is n't easy to do when you are working .None the less, I did, I received and completed the needed affidavits/statements concerning the purchases. Not long after, I saw that a new account was opened ( I did not authorize ) which had many transactions. Some orders I was able to cancel and several items were mailed to various addresses around the country. I never even received the card. I also saw that my email address for confirmations was changed ( not be me ). It was just slightly different than my own. I have been receiving calls from " apparently '' the Macy 's fraud department. No messages are left. Today I called back and I was told that they could not tell me why they were calling. I looked at the closed accounts which still show a past due balance and I receive payment notices. I placed an outbound call to the phone number I had and spoke with -, # - and explained that the calls must stop and the accounts closed and balances charged off. I am concerned that the derogatory credit will be provided to the credit bureaus and I will be left with the mess. It has been more than 90 days. I do not want a derogatory report submitted, even if it is later corrected.
