Fortiva is the servicing company who handles my - card. I 've had other issues with this care, one that I had to report previously to your agency. I am back to file a complaint against them for how the handle the payments that are made toward the balance. I made the minimum payment due on - -, - and the funds were removed by - on - -, -. I reviewed the account online and it says I have $84.00 available to use. I went to a - store close to my residence today and tried to purchased $81.00 worth on cleaning products for my home. The cashier was great and tried it twice. After that, I pulled my phone out to confirm the available credit. During this time, their front end is getting busy. Here I am standing in line with my - - - son wondering why my purchase keeps being decline. The cashier called them for me and when the representative came on, he proceeded to tell me that even though the payment was made, the funds would not be available to me until - -, -. I was livid and most importantly, embarrassed. He proceeded to tell me that he knew how I felt and I was like no he did n't. I told him how embarrassed I was and that they 've had my money since - -. They are illegally holding my money. I am including the screenshots of their website, my bank account and their card agreement posted on their website. I need this policy reviewed. I want an apology for the embarrassment I went through.
