Citibank Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account Illinois
- of - I booked a hotel for - - on - using a credit card by citibank. - of - my identity was stolen and fraudulent charges made on the citibank card. Citibank said I am not responsible and took care of it. Within a week or 2 we closed that account. - - I canceled the hotel and - said they could only refund to original card so they did. I called Citibank and was told I would receive a check after 6-8 weeks.
-. I did that and - said the transaction was complete and Citibank has the funds. I was told to call Citibank! At this point I believe Citibank is the one who needs to give me my funds back. It seem when the account is closed they will be happy to allow money in but not out. I just want my refunded hotel amount back.
