Great Lakes Student loan department,

Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't decrease my monthly payments Texas

I have called on behalf of my - - ( - ) and maintained contact with the servicer, Great Lakes, indicating I am still unemployed and can not pay the requested payment amount. I called recently because my payment went from an agreed upon $ -/month to $ -/month. I CAN BARELY AFFORD $75.00 ... much less the more than quadrupled amount due. When I called and asked for income based repayment, they said they could not offer me any reduced payment options " they 're hands are tied because it 's a not-federal loan ''. I said I could not possibly make the full payment but had already paid the $75.00 and now this month I have seen my credit score dropped - points again. THIS IS REVOLTING!!! Without credit in this country ... a human ca n't live! Please help?!!? They are bullying me! Please also note the attachment from an email whereby the creator of the loan from - agreed that Great Lakes was not doing an adequate job of servicing me. Yet he did n't do ANYthing about the extra fees & interest piling up on my account during that time!
