Opened a Citibank account on -/-/2016 under a promotion of receiving $400.00 for depositing $15000.00 within 30 days and keeping it there for 30 days. I opened the account online through a promotional page for the offer. Deposited $15000.00 on -/-/2016. The terms stated that I would receive the bonus 90 days after completing the requirements. I called on -/-/2016 about the status of my bonus and was told that I should receive it on my next statement. However I did not receive the bonus on my -/-/- statement. I called and they refused to give the bonus and say they need to perform research. There are clear systematic inconsistencies with their account opening process as evidence by the large number of CFPB complaints for this same problem.
