Citibank had a promotion which stated if you opened a checking account with them and deposited - for one month and - for 3 months they would give you a $400.00 bonus. I fulfilled all the requirements in -. According to customer service I was supposed to receive my bonus in -. I called in - when I had not received it and they said I had to turn in a - in order to receive the bonus. That was never in the advertisement and fine print and they do n't ask for it until the very end when you are expecting your bonus. I called them again and they said they finally received my - and that I should automatically receive the bonus in - and to contact them should I not see the bonus and they would automatically apply it to my account. I check in - after my statement closes and still no bonus. I send them a message that the bonus still has n't hit my account and they reply back saying they will open yet another investigation into the matter. I feel very deceived and abused by Citibank 's practices that they have not yet honored the terms of the conditions in which I was supposed to receive the bonus as a new customer. The investigation stated I might not receive a response for yet another 30 days which I feel is unfair as I had met all the requirements in - and submitted the - in -.
