Payday loan Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received Connecticut
Midwest Recovery Systems LLC appeared on my credit report in the amount of $890.00. I have never heard of this company before. When I contacted them, they said that I had taken out a payday loan on -/-/- I did not take out such loan on that day as I was not working at the time. As well all of the banking, home and email address information was old. I have not had that bank since -/-/- and that bank went defunct in -/-/-. I have not lived at that address in over - years. As of -/-/- it had been over - years. That email address had not been my email address since -/-/-. However, for some reason, when I did call they tried to get me to tell them my social security information but did know the last - of it. Now, they are insisting that I owe this money. I know for a fact that I do not owe this money, who takes out a payday loan when they are not, in fact, WORKING and getting pay or have a payday? Not to mention, payday loans are ILLEGAL in the state of -. Please stop your attempts to collect on a debt that is not owed to your client.
