On -/-/2017 I returned - items to the Walmart store at - - - - -. The refunds were for $1.00 ( on my Visa card ) and - cents ( on Walmart mastercard ). The customer service clerk said the amounts would be returned to my Walmart mastercard and my Visa card. I have received my mastercard statement for the billing period ending -/-/2017 and there is no refund posted for - cents. I called Walmart mastercard and the csr - verified that is true. " - '' said the refund would be posted on my NE-T statement. Why should it take more than one month for me to get this refund for merchandise I returned on -/-/17??? I also called my - - customer service today and " - '' said no refund for $1.00 has been posted to my account yet. The csr suggested I contact the merchant ( Walmart ) I called the toll free number for Walmart - and the ONLY option given was a store locator. Since I 've tried before to call the so-called customer service dept of this walmart store - in several fruitless attempts to find out when my " same day '' ( NOT ) toaster would be available for pickup & NEVER got to speak to a human being willing & /or able to answer my question - I decided to not call the customer disservice department of the store. And of course walmart mastercard ca n't answer questions about refunds credited to another bank 's card. ( I asked ) So again I ask : why is it taking so long for a $1.00 refund to post to my credit cards. Walmart got its merchandise back. Where 's my money??? Why does n't Walmart just issue cash refunds rather than making customers wait so long for refunds?
