Balance transfer fee District of Columbia
I was charged $440.00 on -/-/- for a balance transfer check. There were NO terms and conditions attached with the convenience checks that I received so the fee of 3 percent was not disclosed to me in advance. Also, the credit card in question was opened by Wells Fargo, not by me. Thus, I am not obligated to pay the balance transfer fee, and Wells Fargo basically refused to reverse it after discussing it with me over the phone today dated -/-/-.
