U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,
I filed bankruptcy on a secured credit card from US Bank due to my lawyers advice. US Bank sent me a check for my down payment of - dollars minus the balance on the account. I believe the price I just recently received a check for was about - dollars. The only problem is was this account was paid in full be me and there was no balance on this account. I had lost the card before I filed bankruptcy and I did not notice until now because I know I did n't need that credit card anymore. Long story short US Bank still owes me around - dollars because the balance on the account was made by fraud transactions. The fraud happened around -/-/2016 right before I filed bankruptcy. The balance on the account should be - so I should be given the remaining balance. I called and talked to - different people and no one from that company knows how to take a fraud claim on an account that was claimed in a bankruptcy. I am not disputing the account as it was mine, but the fraud transactions that made up a balance is fraud. They ca n't even tell me what transactions came through that made the balance that high. Please help. I feel that they are discriminating against me because I filled bankruptcy and no one wants to help me.
