U.S. Bancorp Prepaid card department,
I purchased - gift cards each for $490.00 + $5.00 activation fee for each card. When I tried to register and use the cards, I was informed they cards had been " compromised '' as the cards were attempted to be used several weeks before I even purchased them. So they were not activated as a security measure by the company. They informed me they would send me out - new cards to replace these cards. The - new replacement cards were loaded with $490.00 - $5.00 fee. So for buying - cards originally, I have now been charged fees on - cards, the - original and the - replacement cards.
