Ray Klein, Inc. Credit reporting department,
Incorrect information on credit report Account status South Carolina
In - 2016, I attempted to reach out to Professional Credit Services located in -, OR for a collections account that is related to a medical bill. During the conversation, the agency stated they would investigate this account ( when I never requested this ) and never sent me any information about this collection so I can understand what medical insurance documents I had to send to prove it was paid. I am not certain how something can be investigated if I never got any information about it and I am unsure what specifically they are attempting to collect. According to the credit bureaus, the collection is for the amount of $540.00 originally and now it is stating it is $770.00. Firstly, I attempted to go on all credit reporting agencies sites ( -, - and - ) and it does not allow me to dispute because the collections agency Professional Credit Services recently updated their commentary on the account. The commentary on the account is not right! It says that the consumer disputed and the account is FCRA compliant. How is the account FCRA compliant if I never received any documents about this account and any evidence that the fees charged are valid. Under FCRA it states, '' report results to the consumer, generally within 30 days. '' It is more than 30 days at this point. There is no paperwork to denote the accuracy. I am requesting that the collections be removed from all bureaus due to noncompliance by this collections agency to properly send information pertaining to this account and adding on additional fees that were never identified or properly explained.
