Citibank Bank account or service department,
Checking account Deposits and withdrawals New York
Citibank, withdraws funds from my account without record as to why, and without proper notifications or consent. I do not believe Citibank follows due process in alerting customers and keeping proper record of such transactions. For example, I just had a $600.00 ACH withdrawal from my account and the bank " could not provide any explanation or details on the incident ''. Yes, thats correct. Money was withdraw without authorization, explanation, and nobody has a record of why this occurred. In detail, On -/-/2017 I received a promotional credit of $600.00 from Citibank for becoming a customer. Today, they subtracted the $600.00, nobody from customer service could provide an explanation. However, when I asked was this an employee or computer error ; the representative then stated it looks like human error, but could not provide any further info. Thats alarming cause that would mean some unprincipled, deceitful, and unreliable employee has access / rights to subtract funds from customers without a proper trail or report as to what happened.
I would like your assistance in obtaining a synopsis from Citibank, outlining who and how their employees have access to and can make changes ( including withdraws, credits, and contact info ) to customers accounts without formal notice nor proper records of such transactions. If Citibank can not keep proper records of there own activities then how to they protect customers. A global bank of this magnitude should have meticulous records ; not " I do n't knows ''. A PDF copy of Citibank 's promotion has been attached. Where as you can compare their terms and conditions against there own unlawful actions. Im wondering if they tried pulling a fast one. For instance, if I did not make a copy of this flyer, they could then find reasons to go against there word and take back an offer ( false advertising or trickery ). Your assistance is greatly appreciated. I want to make sure similar activities do not happen to others.
