Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Someone at an Old Navy store opened an Old Navy Visa account for me -/-/2016. They put the wrong address for me into the computer and their computers were down, so the typical process of checking your address on the screen of the credit card machine did n't occur. Fast forward, now it is 11 months later and my credit card is in collections. I only used the receipt to purchase goods in the store and one other time had the person in the store look up my account. I never received the card in the mail. After getting my credit report, I saw that the account was listed under the same address but different city state. This means that all the statements and card were sent to a completely different address. Now my credit has negatively been affected and the amount that I owe - is in collections with a shoddy debt collection company. The solution that I would like is for me to pay the debt and not get the run around by the debt company and for the record of this debt to be expunged from my credit report.
