My complaint is toward Bank of America. My friend ( - ) and I ( - ) are buying an investment property. My friend works as an - - for a - company in - - being paid in - dollars. He is over there on a short tem contract. He is not scheduled to be back in the - until the beginning of - when his contract is up. - executed a Power of Attorney that gave me the right to sign on his behalf for the investment property purchase. The Power of Attorney was signed and notarized at the - - in - - by a - notary. I was just told by a BoA representative that they


This makes no sense to me as this is the point of a POA and one of the reasons for a - - 's existence. In addition to the fact that an - is a sovereign state and is considered - soil. I escalated it with Bank of America and they requested an exception to allow the POA which was declined. They advised me of the POA decline on Thursday -/-/2017. We are scheduled to close on Friday -/-/2017. I feel they are discriminating against a - citizen who is working abroad. The POA was completed in accordance with - and local law as it has been accepted by the title company who is insuring a clean and clear title.
