Closing/Cancelling account California
I received a letter via mail postal service from Citi Bank. The letter stated " Please be advised that your card was closed on -/-/- as your account may have failed reissue due to late payments, going over accounts which are not in compliance with terms of the Citibank Card Agreement ''. I called customer service - on -/-/-. I spoke with a representative as to why my card was closed and why they are not reissuing a new card. Only thing that they could tell me is because of my activity and that 's it. That 's not a legal reason to close my account. This is unfair and is an act of bullying.
