This is, in regards, to the unfair practices completed by Best Buy. When a customer makes a 6 months no interest purchase with Best Buy, it may sound like a good deal until ... .We made several payments on the purchase. As a matter of fact, we paid over the amount of the promotional purchase. This is what Best Buy financing company does unbeknownst to customers. They do n't apply the payments to the promotional purchase to reduce the interest or show the promotional purchase as paid off. When I called them about this, they stated, " I had to notify the finance company how I wanted the payments applied. '' My thoughts were I over paid the amount I owed for such purchase, but because there were other purchases on the account they stated the payments were made on those purchases instead of the promotional balance. This unethical practice cost me a lot of money in finance charges. Best Buy tries to purposely squeeze money out of consumers unexpectedly.
