I just checked my credit reports to only find out that my credit service, Fortiva ( The Home Improver Card ), reported my history over 30+ days late. I have never made a payment over 30 days late. I was a few days past the due date, by never went past the next due date. Their website does n't provide the required information ( amount past due ) or a PDF version of the monthly billing statements, or even a physical breakdown of what is due, etc. I have pictures that show what their site looks like and you have to guess the amount due, as you are not required to pay the next month 's amount until the next due date, but if you want to know what is due, you have to guess. Their phone system is horrible and when their agents call, they do n't tell you where they 're from, they just say " Account Services ''. I literally had to tell her to tell me the name of the credit card they are calling for as I have many retail cards. She said, '' Well you just made a payment to us on -/-/-, ''


told me that I could make a payment through their site, and I told her it does n't post for 5 days, unless I expedited it and it costs. She said that was incorrect information. I said I 've tried it twice and it shows that it would post right away. Come to find out it was because they had just received a payment and their system would n't allow another to be scheduled within 7 days. They need to get with the times and up to standards with the laws. I submitted a dispute with -. I will submit the dispute with the agencies after I submit this with the CFPB.
