JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
I have purchased - from a vendor on -/-/2016. They invoiced me for $1700.00. I complained that the amount was incorrect. The vendor duly revised down the charge to $1500.00. But while the above were being discussed, both amounts were already charged to my credit card in inadvertent sequence. I was therefore charged twice for my purchase. I contacted my vendor about this charging problem on -/-/2016. The vendor had gone through their books, and responded to me on - - with a copy of their ledger statement, that they had already refunded the amount $1700.00 back to my credit card at the time of our transaction.
Despite my repeated requests of them to give me back the credit amount that my vendor has refunded through my credit card, but never showed up in my statement, they have only given me repeated perfunctory acknowledgements, and provided no response of any substance or reference to the contents of my case whatsoever. Based on the above scenario, the card company has therefore been stalling and ignoring my request all this time on their responsibility towards my rights as a consumer, and has in fact unlawfully confiscated $1700.00 of my credit money.
