Amex Credit card department,
On -/-/2016 we stayed at a - in - UT and used our American Express Bluebird card to pay for the room. As per normal they held funds to cover the transaction then charged the funds, but they never released the " hold ''. When I called the - they informed me that they did not do automatic releases and it would be up to my financial institution to release the funds. I called American Express and was told that they could not release the funds either, it was n't their " policy ''. So-- will not do an auto release, even though they have been paid, and American Express will not release because it is not " their policy ''. So who has my $88.00 and who is responsible for returning these funds to me? It has been nearly - weeks and someone still has my $88.00.
