-/-/- in an attempt to make my water bill payment for $110.00, I added the mistake and put $1100.00. Upon receipt of confirmation of the transaction, I immediately contacted Netspend to request they reverse the pending transaction. They stated I needed to contact the merchant to have them submit reason authorization should be released, etc. I informed Netspend that the merchant stated payment had not been processed, so therefore, they do not have the funds. The merchant agreed to help me out and sent a receipt to Netspend stating that they would only process the initial payment of $110.00 for the water bill. Upon receiving the receipt from the merchant, Netspend still refuses to release my $1000.00 back to my account.
