A hold of $110.00 was put on my american express server One VIP card Saturday -/-/2016 while checking into the - - in -. I called the the hotel today Monday -/-/2016 to ask why the hold was still on my card when I checked out Sunday morning -/-/2016. - advised they released the hold upon my checkout that it was my card merchant American Express Serve that still had the hold on my card. I contacted American Express Serve and they advised the could n't release the $110.00 until -/-/2017, because the do n't have the authority to in their system. Even though I had the - - on the line and told them I had no other pending hotel charges. It 's a blatant attempt to keep my money on their books for at least 30 additional days, and I consider this flat out FRAUD ...
