$1000.00 of fraudulent charges were made to my Citibank card on -/-/-. After reporting the fraud on -/-/-, Citibank reversed $940.00 of fraudulent charges on -/-/-. After closing the card and reopening a new one on -/-/-, Citibank has not removed the last $100.00 in fraudulent charges after stating that they would apply a credit to my account within 3-4 business days. Citibank has told me that they will charge a late fee for the minimum amount due that is late, even though it is a fraudulent charge that a customer service representative claimed they would remove. I have been told conflicting information from various representatives : pay the minimum amount versus do n't pay the minimum amount, there 's nothing customer service can do versus the fraud department can not do anything because it 's a customer service issue. I 'm not sure who to contact because Citibank 's customer service team seems to be unaware of who to contact in order to remedy this situation, and that I will be forced to i. pay a late fee on a fraudulent charge, ii. pay the balance for a fraudulent charge or iii. use Citibank 's 1 time waiver of the late fee for a fraudulent charge that they can not remove in time.
