Incorrect information on credit report Reinserted previously deleted info Maryland

Worked with attorney and debt collector to resolve an erroneous debt collection action resulting from cancellation of a cell phone contract in - pursuant to the Servicemember 's Civil Relief Act/the terms of the contract. The debt collector verified that the debt was erroneous and notified my attorney of the same. The debt disappeared from all three of my credit card reports but has since reappeared. The process of disputing the erroneous information on each individual credit report ( Experian, - ) is unduly onerous and time consuming. I would like the CFPB 's help with cleaning up my credit report permanently. Further, I believe other - may be similarly situated and the CFPB should track this company for other complaints.
