Equifax Credit reporting department,
Incorrect information on credit report Public record New York
I uploaded to Equifax a copy of a Lien Release Notice - Lien Recorded in Error signed by a California - - - representative and a copy of the same release that was filed. This document is the only document that is provided by the CA -. Equifax is insisting that I need to show them a Lien WITHDRAWAL Notice, even though the Lien Release Notice I provided to Equifax clearly shows that the lien was filed in error ( which means that the lien should not appear on my credit report ). Equifax is insisting on a document that the CA - will not provide. This makes absolutely no sense and means that, even though anyone reading the Lien Release Notice would conclude that the lien should not appear on my credit report, this lien will continue to show as " Released '' and negatively impact my credit score. Also, when I spoke with - Equifax representatives, they told me that no one had read the evidence I had uploaded, which means that Equifax 's review process is nothing close to reasonable.
