Citibank Credit card department,
Credit line increase/decrease Oregon
I requested a credit line increase on my Sears Mastercard and was declined. The reasons they gave were " unsatisfactory credit and/or derogatory public record references ''. I immediately pulled all - credit bureaus to see what could possibly be reporting negatively. EVERYTHING is reporting paid as agreed or no lates wth the exception of - - 30 days late -/-/2012. that was 4 1/2 years ago and should not be a reason to decline credit. There is not any public records at all. I feel they are discriminating against me because I am a single woman in her - 's. If they have a more legitimate reason for declining an increase in my account that i have a perfect rating with them, then they need to let me know. Thank you
