Incorrect information on credit report Account status California
I have submitted several disputes about the current payment status of " - or more past due '' on - accounts with Equifax and they always come back as confirmed with creditor. The - account was settled in 2012, and the - - - account was transferred over a year ago. - creditors say the status is incorrect but they can not change it. How can accounts be closed with zero balance and also be 120+ days past due at the same time?
