Equifax Credit reporting department,

Unable to get credit report/credit score Problem getting my free annual report Tennessee

I tried REPEATEDLY to get my free annual report from Equifax. When the questions came up it would say that they were wrong and that I had to send in a copy of my license to get my report. FINALLY after another month my report finally came HOWEVER I recently had and identity theft incident of someone using my information to apply for a credit card. It HAS BEEN reported to the company and the police but it takes months to fix this AND it would be more easily traceable if a copy of my license was n't out there when they should have allowed the questions to approve my identity. After searching online I see that it is common issue with getting the free annual credit report for EQUIFA- and I want it resolved.
